What is a Jasseron chain?
A Jasseron chain is a chain made of all small, separate links or rings. The name Jeaseron chain does not refer to charms hanging from the chain, but to the chain itself. The rings that make up the chain are always round, as is the case with our Charmed necklace.
These types of necklaces are popular because they have an elegant look. In fact, the small links contain many details. Besides the look, there is also a practical advantage to a Chain of Sacred Glass: the links can later be opened to shorten or lengthen the chain.
Differences in chains
Although these types of chains all consist of a sequence of rings, there are many differences between them. This is because the thickness and size of the links can vary a lot.
The thinner and smaller the links are, the more minimalist the chain looks. This is great with small charms or subtle designs, for example. Larger links, on the other hand, stand out more, making the real statement necklaces. With larger links, you can also easily choose larger charms without the chain feeling unbalanced. Preference for thickness and size is very personal, which is why we are happy to take you through our range.
For example, the Anchor necklace is an example of a necklace with smaller links. This creates a simplistic, graceful look. You can add any Minitials charm to the necklace to create a piece of jewellery completely to your liking. The necklace is 50 centimetres long and available in yellow gold, white gold or rose gold.
The Bicolour necklace, on the other hand, is a model with slightly larger links. This makes it stand out even more. The necklace is slightly longer compared to the Anchor necklace, namely 60 centimetres. It has a beautiful white gold touch, making it easy to combine with other jewellery.
Wide range
We love the timeless look of the jasper link chain. We have a wide range of different types of jasseron links, so you can find one to suit every style.
For a real statement necklace, our Minitials fresh necklace is the perfect match. This chain has very large links and an eye-catching clasp with beautiful design. The chain is 55 centimetres long and thanks to the large links, you can hang a charm in any place you like. Hello, statement piece!
A counterpart to this is our Mesh necklace. This necklace has smaller links that are very precisely connected. There is almost no space between the different links, giving it an elegant look. This necklace can also be combined with charms of your choice.
De Poetry ketting zit qua grootte van de schakels tussen de twee bovenstaande kettingen in. Het is daardoor wat opvallender, maar heeft nog steeds een klassiek uiterlijk. De ketting is wat korter (45 centimeter), waardoor je deze hoger op de hals draagt. Het is daardoor ook goed te combineren met langere kettingen.
Jasseron van hoge kwaliteit
Onze sieraden worden enkel gemaakt van goud met een goudkeurstempel van Waarborg Holland. Zo ben je verzekerd van een Jasseron collier van hoge kwaliteit, waar je nog jarenlang van kan genieten. Onze goudsmeden maken elk sieraad met de hand. Iedere schakel wordt daardoor met zorg en aandacht gesmeden door ambachtsvrouwen en -mannen.
Een ketting kan helaas zwakker worden of zelfs breken, wanneer deze erg veel gedragen wordt of aan veel slijtage is blootgesteld. Het voordeel van een schakelketting is dat deze te repareren is. We kunnen de ketting vervangen en jouw initialen en symbolen aan een nieuwe ketting bevestigen. Hiervoor kun je langskomen in onze Flagship store in Eindhoven. Ook is het mogelijk om de ketting en/of bedels op te sturen.
Gouden Jasseron kettingen
De basis van onze kettingen is 18 karaat massief geelgoud. Om een witgouden ketting te creëren, wordt het goud gerhodineerd. Er komt dan als het ware een wit laagje om het goud heen. Dit laagje kan helaas door de jaren heen wat slijten, waardoor de onderliggende geelgouden kleur meer naar voren kan komen.
Dit is op te lossen: mocht de witgouden kleur na jaren gebruik wat minder zichtbaar zijn, kan de ketting opnieuw gerhodineerd worden. De ketting krijgt dan weer de oorspronkelijke uitstraling, en jij kunt weer jaren vooruit!
