There is a story behind every piece of jewellery. Our customers tell the most beautiful stories. Stories that inspire us and we love to share. Nynke is one of our customers with a beautiful collection. Over 11 years ago, Nynke’s Minitials addiction began.
Nynke says: “The reason for my addiction is the birth of my son Mees Alje*. The first jewellery pieces in my collection were the Signature Necklace and the Round Two Signature satin bracelet. Both with Mees’ initials (MA). The initials MA are deliberately chosen”. In 2010, Nynke’s mother passed away suddenly. Nynke continues, “Mees is named after my mother Alje*. These initials together form the word Ma and therefore have a double meaning. My own Ma(ma) and Mees Alje* of whom I may be Ma(ma) myself.”
Over the years, Nynke’s collection has expanded every year. Nynke says: “My collection has expanded to bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings. All gifts for a special occasion. Each piece of jewellery with a unique meaning.” Nynke types this story at the edge of the pool on Florida Keys. Nynke continues, “Right now I am still enjoying the pool but after our holiday, an appointment is already scheduled in Eindhoven. This time to pick out a new ring and expand my collection”.
